Who can change a password

Password change is available only for accounts where the login provider is email.

If your account uses Google sign-in, ClipThemAll does not manage your Google password. In that case, the password change button is not shown in your ClipThemAll account.

How to open the password change form

1. Sign in to your ClipThemAll account.
2. Find the email card in the account summary.
3. Click Change password.
4. A password change window opens on the same page.

What you need to enter

The form asks for three values:

• your current password;
• your new password;
• the new password again.

The current password must match your existing password. The repeated password must match the new password.

Password rules

The new password must use visible Latin characters and must meet all of these rules:

• at least 8 characters;
• at least one uppercase letter;
• at least one number;
• at least one special character;
• only visible Latin keyboard characters.

The page checks the new password before the form can be submitted. If the password does not match the rules, the confirm button stays disabled.

What happens after you confirm

After you submit the form, ClipThemAll checks the request again on the server.

1. The server verifies that you are signed in.
2. It checks that the form session is valid.
3. It confirms that your account is active.
4. It confirms that the account provider is email.
5. It checks the current password.
6. It checks that the new password follows the password rules.
7. It checks that the new password is different from the current password.
8. If all checks pass, the new password is saved and the password change time is recorded.

Confirmation email

After a successful password change, ClipThemAll sends a confirmation email to the address connected to your account.

If the password was changed but the confirmation email could not be sent, the page will still show a status message. Your password change remains saved.
