Number of clips

If Cut by clip count is selected, the user enters the number of clips.

The service will split the source video into the selected number of parts. For example, if the video is 12 minutes long and 6 clips are selected, each clip will be about 2 minutes long.

Clip duration

If Cut by clip duration is selected, the user enters the clip duration in minutes.

The service will split the source video into parts of the selected duration. For example, if 5 minutes is entered, the video will be split into clips of about 5 minutes, and the final clip may be shorter.

Cutting options

In the Cutting options block, the user can choose additional settings.

The following options are available:

Overlap clips by 3 seconds
Adds a small overlap around each cutting point. Each clip starts 3 seconds earlier and ends 3 seconds later around the exact cut point.

Convert clips to vertical social format
Creates additional vertical versions of the cut clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

Smart face tracking
Helps keep the face or main speaker in frame when creating vertical versions of the clips. This option is connected to vertical conversion and may be available only after vertical social format is enabled.

Live estimate

The order shows a block with the video parameters and selected settings.

It usually displays:

• resolution;
• estimated outputs;
• processing mode;

This block helps the user check which parameters were detected by the system and which cutting settings were selected before creating the order.
